"I was part of the Angel Oak Debating team and we went to La Fontaine Academy to debate with other STEP academies.  We stayed for the day and even ate lunch with La Fontaine academicians!  I really enjoyed speaking in front of other people, meeting other STEP academicians and visiting another school.  My advice to next year's debating team is to think carefully about your argument, speak clearly and in full sentences, and make eye contact with your audience."
