Update: Covid-19 Response

You will be aware of the recent announcement, made by the Prime Minister on 14th June, regarding the lifting of national restrictions, as per the UK government’s ‘roadmap out of lockdown’.

With restrictions remaining in place until 19th July, I am writing to inform you that Angel Oak will continue to enforce the following rules until the end of the Summer Term:

  • The timings of the school day remain staggered: 8:45am – 3pm for Reception and Years 1, 3 and 5; 9am – 3:15 for Years 2, 4 and 6
  • Children will remain in their year group ‘bubbles’ at all times, with no mixing of these groups permitted during the school day
  • Due to the difficulties with maintaining a safe distance from others on the school playground, masks remain compulsory for all parents whilst on the school grounds, except those who are exempt

In addition, I would like to remind parents that cases of Covid-19 continue to increase locally. It is just as crucial as ever that you inform the school if your child or a member of your household exhibits any symptoms of Covid-19 and self-isolate immediately. This will help ensure our staff and our community are safe.

Thank you for your continued support.
