Update: Covid-19 Response

You will be aware of the recent announcement, made by the Prime Minister on 14^th June, regarding the lifting of national restrictions, as per the UK government’s ‘roadmap out of lockdown’.

With restrictions remaining in place until 19^th July, I am writing to inform you that Angel Oak will continue to enforce the following rules until the end of the Summer Term:

• The timings of the school day remain staggered: 8:45am – 3pm for Reception and Years 1, 3 and 5; 9am – 3:15 for Years 2, 4 and 6
• Children will remain in their year group ‘bubbles’ at all times, with no mixing of these groups permitted during the school day
• Due to the difficulties with maintaining a safe distance from others on the school playground, masks remain compulsory for all parents whilst on the school grounds, except those who are exempt

In addition, I would like to remind parents that cases of Covid-19 continue to increase locally. It is just as crucial as ever that you inform the school if your child or a member of your household exhibits any symptoms of Covid-19 and self-isolate immediately. This will help ensure our staff and our community are safe.
